Sterling Process Equipment and Services, Inc. was founded in 1983 by a team of dedicated individuals focused on customer service. The goal was to apply a wide variety of knowledge and experience to engineering needs within the food, dairy and beverage industries. This has been the foundation of our success. Our reputation of trust, exceptional quality and service has allowed us to build upon this solid foundation in various ways.
A cornerstone of our philosophy is our people. We began with a small group of people dedicated to a simple principle; treat people the way you would like to be treated. Give good, honest, quality service to both external and internal customers.

2019
Changed name from “Sterling Process Engineering and Services, Inc” to “Sterling Process Equipment and Services, Inc” to better align with the company’s core focus and comply with various states’ licensing regulations.
2018
Sterling Process Equipment celebrated 35 years of providing quality products, services and support to our customers and partners.
2016
Moved to a new location in Lakeland, Florida. The new location added additional office and warehouse space.
2001
An addition was made, adding 15,000 square feet of production space to Sterling’s current location.
1990-1991
Sterling built their current location. This consisted of 15,000 square feet of production space and 3,000 square feet of office space.
1983
Sterling began from the home of Jerry Martin. Jim Eads and Gene Adams were the first two employees.
